Pairs a portrait of Daniel Webster with presentation of an Indian princess. This is a so-called "Jackass" note, named for the eagle at the bottom, which resembles a donkey's head when the note is inverted. Multiple varieties exist, distinguished by color, seal placement, and added embellishment. For this design, a red "TEN" appears in an ornamental device at right center, while the seal remains at left.
